Characterization of unilateral polycystic ovary compared with polycystic ovary syndrome.

Twelve patients with unilateral polycystic ovarian morphology demonstrated milder degrees of ovarian and other endocrine dysfunction than polycystic ovary syndrome patients and had fewer incidences of hyperprolactinemia and hyperandrogenism.
